
As a business owner, have you ever struggled with selling? Maybe you’re saying all the right things, following the best sales strategies, yet you still find yourself getting rejected more often than you’d like. Selling doesn’t just happen on the surface. It actually occurs on three levels: intellectual, subconscious, and physical. When you understand how these levels work together, you’ll finally unlock the ability to sell effortlessly and with confidence.
Level 1: Intellectual Selling – The Logic Behind the Offer
This is the most obvious and commonly used level of selling. It involves explaining your offer, its benefits, features, pricing, and how it helps solve a problem. It’s the rational side of selling—giving your prospects the facts they need to make an informed decision.
While this is important, logic alone doesn’t drive most decisions. If it did, people would always make the most rational choice, and selling would be easy! But we all know that’s not the case.
If you’re relying only on facts, you’re missing the deeper levels that truly influence buying behavior.
Level 2: Subconscious Selling – The Real Decision Maker
This is where most business owners struggle without realizing it. The subconscious mind plays a huge role in sales—both for you as the seller and for your potential client.
For your potential client, subconscious factors like fear of change, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs can hold them back from saying yes—even if they want your solution. They may not even be fully aware of what’s stopping them, but something doesn’t feel “right,” so they hesitate or say no.
For you as the seller, your own subconscious beliefs about money, selling, and self-worth could be sabotaging your success. If deep down you believe:
❌ Selling is pushy
❌ Asking for money is uncomfortable
❌ You’re not good at closing deals
❌ People don’t want to buy from you
❌ You really need this sale
…then those beliefs will affect your energy, your tone, and even the way you communicate. Your prospect will pick up on your energy and even though they may not know what’s going on, they will not want to buy from you. Additionally, you might hesitate, avoid following up, or sound uncertain—causing your prospect to mirror that hesitation and say no.
When you shift your subconscious beliefs, selling becomes effortless.
Level 3: Physical Selling – Your Actions & Energy in the Sale
The third level is how you show up physically—your energy, body language, voice tone, and confidence during the sales process. Even if you have the perfect pitch and a great offer, if your energy feels off—whether nervous, desperate, or unsure—your prospect will pick up on it.
Think about the last time someone tried to sell you something and you sensed hesitation or desperation. Did you feel excited to buy? Probably not!
On the flip side, when someone exudes confidence and certainty, you naturally trust them more and feel drawn to what they offer.

If you’re struggling with sales, the issue isn’t just about learning better scripts or techniques—it’s about aligning all three levels of selling.
✔ Master the intellectual level by knowing your offer inside and out.
✔ Reprogram your subconscious mind to remove limiting beliefs about selling.
✔ Show up with the right physical presence—confidence, energy, and certainty.
When all three levels align, selling no longer feels forced—it feels natural, authentic, and even enjoyable.
